Alex Aguilera

In September 2003, Alexander Aguilera’s life changed when he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). In 2005, during his treatment journey, Alexander began attending Camp UOTS. What started as a summer experience became an important part of his life. Camp provided Alexander with a sense of belonging, connection, and an opportunity to build relationships with others who understood experiences that were difficult to explain to people outside the childhood cancer community. The friendships and memories he developed at Camp UOTS became an enduring part of his story.

That experience helped shape Alexander’s perspective on the importance of community and giving back. His connection to Camp UOTS represents more than a summer tradition—it reflects the impact that mentorship, friendship, and a supportive community can have on a young person navigating a difficult chapter of life.

Today, Alexander works in wealth management, where he helps individuals and families navigate their financial futures. As a Board Director, he brings this skillset to Camp UOTS, where he helps fundraise to prepare for the future, protect what we have built, and create opportunities for the generations that follow.
