● Program Overview

What You’ll Enjoy

With trained medical professionals and dedicated staff, campers will spend a week rediscovering what joy feels like through interactive games, creative experiences, and friendly team challenges that bring out curiosity, courage, and connection. Along the way, they’ll build confidence as they explore different forms of self-expression and, if they choose, share their stories in a supportive community that celebrates them exactly as they are.

Program Structure

Campers spend each day doing fun activities in small groups, alongside staff and volunteers, giving them plenty of individual support. They’ll introduce themselves in multiple icebreaker activities, experiment with arts & crafts, and join group adventures that build confidence and collaboration. At the end of the week, they’ll take away mementos, exchange contact information, and leave with life-long friends.

What’s Included

All program materials, from meals and lodging to outside trips and activities, are covered so campers can access a summer camp without added costs. Three meals a day are served in the Recreation “Rec” Room, alongside snacks, beverages, and the occasional special treats. Campers sleep in cozy, decorated cabins with new friends, cared for by attentive staff, on-duty nurses and attending doctors.

Session Length

Camp is a one-week session, designed for an immersive summer experience. This style offers a vibrant introduction and plenty of time to grow and form deeper connections. This program promises a full Camp UOTS experience packed with creativity and adventure.

Camper Age Groups

Summer camps are designed for participants ages 7 to 17, with campers mixed across age groups for campsite activities and grouped by similar ages for the Orlando trip. This approach helps campers connect and build relationships during all activities while fostering a better understanding of the different stages in each person’s health journey.
