Sarah Taylor
Sarah is a dedicated pediatric nurse practitioner specializing in oncology and hematology, with a career devoted to caring for children and families facing cancer and blood disorders. She currently serves as the Senior Nurse Manager for the outpatient clinics at the Helen and Jacob Shaham Cancer and Blood Disorders Institute at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, where she leads multidisciplinary teams and works to ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and compassionate care for pediatric patients and their families.
In addition to her clinical leadership, Sarah has been deeply involved with Camp UOTS for more than 20 years. What began as volunteer service has grown into a long-standing commitment to ensuring that children attending camp are medically safe while still able to fully experience the joys of camp. Sarah works closely with camp personnel to support the complex medical needs of campers so they can participate fully in the camp experience.
Now serving as a Director for the Board, Sarah also plays an active role in planning and program development, helping shape a safe, inclusive, and meaningful environment for every participant at Camp UOTS. Through both her professional work and her decades of volunteer service, Sarah is passionate about creating spaces where children facing serious illness can feel supported, empowered, and free to simply be kids.
